I also started translating some of Stardew Valley’s intro. Mostly the character creation screen and menus. I took screenshots of the dialogue, I’ll work through translating those when I have some time.

  • A chapter of Frieren on the train to work. May or may not read another one on the way home… when it’s not in story arc town it really is a really nice ‘chapter here, chapter there’ kind of manga since they’re all these nice little self-contained… I don’t know what to call them, anecdotes?

Finished the rest of this week’s 六人の噓つきな大学生 after work. Good good. Wasn’t expecting what happened.

Also did 45 mins of ひぐらし. Finished another chapter, this one was a bit shorter. I don’t think I mentioned yesterday, but I got mods set up so that there’s voice acting now. Improves the experience for sure. Slowly figuring out how this whole process works and getting to optimise it a bit. Still got a ways to go (about 2 million characters or something…).

Did plenty of textbook stuff at work and got slightly back on the flashcard train, but my reading time will be slightly down over the coming weeks and months as I get busier and prioritise other stuff. Still planning on maintaining a decent rate. 8 more novels to go in the next 3 months to hit my pre-N2 goal, should be pretty comfortable.

did two chapters of masquerade, cos the first was very short, and i sped through it! then i picked up rakugo and didn’t plan on reading the rest of the volume but somehow did? slow, difficult going (there was a prolonged rakugo scene with a lot of dialogue) but i got there.

next eng read is gonna be the priory of the orange tree by samantha shannon, which is a whopping 830 pages (small font) so god knows how long this is gonna take me :sweat_smile:

I read somewhere it’s 2 million for the whole game thankfully.. if it was just for 鬼隠し I’d quit now! First chapter is just (!) 200k chs. I think, so I’m like maybe 1/3rd through.

Yesterday I finished 風立ちぬ!! I feel so accomplished :relieved_face: It was easier in some ways and harder in other ways, than I was expecting. But I am glad I read it!! Now I can go back to my Professor Layton novel that I put on hold :))
