📚📚 Read Japanese Every Day Challenge - Spring 2025 🐍🐸

My best recommendation is to find something that you want to read! I’m reading SeaBed now together with an informal book club on Natively. It’s not voiced, so it feels like reading a book, with beautiful music and illustrations.

I’m also reading Aokana on my own. It’s fully voiced (except the main character), and since it’s mostly dialogs it’s a lot easier than SeaBed. I have seen Aokana recommended in several “VNs for newbies” threads.

Other than that, we’ll read The House in Fata Morgana together as an informal book club, starting in May. I don’t know anything about that VN, but it’s fun to read something with a group!

One more, Loopers, which theVN book club read together 3 years ago. If you want something shorter then that may be worth looking at too. I really liked it, and I liked to read the old book club as I was reading.
