A chapter of とんがり帽子のアトリエ 9 - I’m finding this really difficult at the moment. I’ve not sure whether this volume is unusually hard to understand compared with other volumes, or whether the increased bookclub pace is putting pressure on me thats making it feel harder…
Honestly several times today while trying to read I felt like I’d just completely forgotten Japanese.

Another chapter of とんがり帽子のアトリエ 9. Struggled slightly less today, but it was still a real slog.

4 chapters of からかい上手の 元 高木さん 4 - definitely a relief to be reading something so much simpler today, after two days of feeling incredibly stupid while trying to read.
