Read through this week assignment. It was good, I’m really looking forward to the next week! And it is fun discussing mystery book with the book club.

Read to the end of chapter 2, there were a few weird readings and old kanji but mostly not too bad today.

Ended up prioritizing cleaning home, spending almost the entire day doing chores. It was satisfying. Didn’t contribute much to finishing book tho 
Read mostly after dinner. I like this book, enjoying it so far.
I think thanks to having the goal of finishing this book today, I decided yesterday I wouldn’t watch Kanae today. And thanks to that I spontaneously ended up cleaning. Very nice (it was getting messy in here). Usually I’d be disappointed about not being able to finish book, but I’m happy with what I got instead.
Maybe I can compensate by finishing two book next week?

I played a bit 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡. Just doing quests and running around town. Nothing important happened.
I have just read one page of ハピネス today but I am slowly catching up my exercices to my grammar lessons on Genki.
What strikes me the most doing this challenge is HOW MUCH grammar I am learning with even one page of manga, it is wild:
Today I learned も無い, わよ, なさい, ても, all very useful.
Even if you cant read a whole book a day, start with a page!

I’m a bit upset because instead of little Japanese time I had for yesterday I spent my evening cleaning a wardrobe after I found clothes moth traces. And it’ll still take forever to clean everything, freeze etc., so bye-bye my plans for Japanese for this week

October 13th
Read the entirety of chapter three, suprised that I managed to get through the whole chapter today! Maybe chapter three wasn’t too bad, or maybe I’m getting back into the swing of it.
I did encounter this though: 兎に角
Had me stumped before I looked it up, thought at first it was some kind of horned-rabbit-yokai similar to a jackalope… but no, it’s just the kanji for とにかく (anyway, in any case), I would not have thought that that would use those kanji.
