Radicals you just don't "see"

WaniKani makes up the radical names for the purpose of devising mnemonics for the kanji you will later study. The mnemonics are the little stories used to help us memorise the meaning and reading of a kanji/vocab item.

They are not the same as the radicals listed in a kanji dictionary. Any resemblance to a radical in a kanji dictionary is coincidental.
