Sadly, no. The only easy way to add furigana is with the HTML <ruby> tag. All browsers I’m aware of render the contents above, not below the line.
I use a script, by the way, in the forums to make it easier to type the furigana. It’s a bit buggy but it’s still easier than adding the tags manually.
