In the meantime, you can add your own mnemonics by clicking on the Notes section, and copying your mnemonic in and then saving it. Then, whenever you re-open the details, you can re-read your own mnemonic. I use this feature all the time, whenever I get stuck on one or more items and don’t find the WK mnemonics helpful for me.
Thanks for the feedback
I’ll share this with the content team and see what we can do.
This sounds like a dialect issue. British English would definitely be the sow version. Which, tbh is an issue
Always has been in fact. WK relies on a specific pronunciation for its mnemonics and for anyone who doesn’t use it, it won’t fly.
Don’t get me started on かく…
That’s a really good mnemonic thank you.
It’s clearly about former Everton defender Leighton Baines.
Maybe you could try a mnemonic with “your soul”? What is Another Place? It’s a place where your soul is not present.
Or, similar to this https://www.wanikani.com/vocabulary/装い “yo, so, where’s this other place?”.
Was just thinking of that one
This should have a trigger warning at this point.
Thanks for the mnemonic. I got it wrong also several times.
I use something like… “[Yo, so]… you wanna go [elsewhere]?”
いらない!他所は他所、うちはうち。
