[Obsolete thread]: WK progress (idigtech.com --> wkstats.com)

nevermind. wrong  thread

@rfindley: I’ll look into it I guess, I’m on FF v40 on OS X, installed the script via Greasemonkey and it completely corrupts the page for me.

You probably shouldn’t be overriding console.log though, that’s where the error lies for me (L549)

I figured out what the cause was, and is probably fixed now.  Try update.
There's nothing wrong with overriding console.  I was just calling it with the wrong 'this' value.  Didn't see an error on my side, because nothing else was calling console.log on my PC.  I'm guessing it is on yours.

Speed said... By the way, your script is broken in Firefox: "TypeError: 'log' called on an object that does not implement interface Console."
 Works for me in Firefox.

 Yeah, pretty much.

In fact, forget the web page!

Finally got round to installing this. Works great - love the addition of the different types of reading material. Thanks so much for making it!

(Also, it fixed the issue I was having with levels taking negative amounts of time.)

Can someone tell me what exactly are the “various news” sources? “[2] Various online news sources (source)”

I clicked the source but it doesn’t say what those various sources are.

Unfortunately, Dmitry doesn't list the 4 sites he used for the "news" stats.
rfindley said... Now that I'm higher level, it helps to shrink the bars, rather than having to scroll.
I would like to hear some votes as to whether to push this change into the public version of the script.
(It should scale up to Level 60 okay, assuming your screen is wide enough. Otherwise, you'll still be scrolling anyway)

Really late but I love the shrinking :)) Thanks for all your work~

FYI, things get goofy when you hit level 52.  There are a few levels that don’t have radicals, which is what the level-up dates are based on.
It will be a while before I have time work on it.

This is what it looks like at 60

Seems he may have removed the page (or accidentally started pointing it to his new stuff).

Well that sucks, refreshing a tab and seeing some nonsense.

Yep, it’s a shame because the site was great to keep tabs of my progress

I used the Internet Wayback machine to recover Kyle’s html and javascript.
I also integrated my userscript changes directly into the page, so the script is no longer needed.
As long as bandwidth doesn’t become an issue, I’ll leave the page up.

NOTE:  There are some known issues when you pass Level 50.  I’ll fix it if/as I get time.

You are a genius! And here I was thinking that a lot of his code must have been server side, d'oh. Thanks for doing this.

I love data visualisation and this is really good. Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot, rfindley!!
Very much appreciated

Thanks! It (the old one, presumably) just stopped working for me today. I’ll be grabbing this tomorrow (er later today) on my PC for sure. Thank you RFindley!

(from my phone…)

Thank you very much for this!

This is great, rfindley.

Many thanks for all the work and for hosting it too.
