My 710 day journey to the cake as a high school student!

have you taken any JLPT exams? Congrats on lv 60 by the way. I wish I had started WK in high school. Balancing WK with work can be hard sometimes

I haven’t, no! Only a mock N4 exam last July, but I’ve signed up to do N3 this December.

Congrats on making it to 60!:crocodile::crab: And like many others have said, well done on all the other achievements you made along the way. I’m impressed by how quickly you picked up 魔女の宅急便.

Thank you! When I first started 魔女の宅急便 it was quite a challenge — took me half an hour to read just one page. Nine months later, I finished the last two chapters in a single evening!
Diving into it so early paid off for sure :slightly_smiling_face:

Wow, really happy for you, I find it amazing that you have learned so much about how to learn and other life lessons, that you have applied to japanese and that you can now apply to every area of your life, that’s such an amazing start to have that with you at 16 years old!!!

Thank you!! Honestly, it’s harder for me to apply what I’ve learned in my language learning journey to academics, because I don’t have as much of a passion for my school subjects. [1] But I’ve been and will continue working on improving myself!

  1. Also, the approach to learning and even revision techniques in class time itself is very rigid in some classes. It infuriates me sometimes. ↩︎
