I think they’re asking if the ‘master’ radical (主) and the ‘white’ kanji (白) are the same character. If that’s right, then no, they are different.

I mean, yes, that’s what it looks like they’re asking, but that doesn’t really seem like a thing anyone could confuse, so I figured there’s something more… Maybe not.

Dear me,I searched for each of them and gazed at them for a while trying to see the difference before I asked the q.

Feel a bit daft now but thank you for sorting it out for me, I just couldn’t see it!
