Ah… yet another promise to myself I didn’t keep. Wanted to speedrun 19+20 so I would start 2022 with lvl 21 and hopefully get to around 40 by the end of the year (which I still think could be doable) but I still haven’t finished 19. School is back in session so hopefully thats the reset I need to get back on track, but I am kind of mad at myself for not doing what I told myself to.

Had a rocky end of 2021 and lost the (mental) energy to keep climbing. I could not keep up my pace (roughly 14 days per level) and I’ve been stuck on level 40 for a while now. I’ve decided to reset and I’ll try new strategies to avoid 200+ reviews per day (which right now I cannot handle).
I’ll reach you guys “a little” further in the future. Have a good climb and/or enjoy the view at the top ;)!

DUDE, the early 40s are notorious for exactly that. I was definitely there. I decided to power through, but I think maybe reseting would have been better.
Instead, now that I’m at 43, I’m just going the speed level up route. I should be 44 by tonight. Fingers crossed.

Made it to level 45! Second observation deck
The early 40s felt like hell. Are those levels cursed? I literally almost gave up lmao.
Still, I feel very motivated right now because I’m getting close to 60. Only 15 levels left!

those levels felt like hell because my brain was not willing to cooperate, but I believe in you, you can do it!
There’s some really fun and helpful vocab, just try to not get overwhelmed during the fast levels.

No shame in coming back later. After I hit 60 my motivation went bye for a long time. Im back now. Just did 1400 reviews today and am still about 1100 out from evening things out. Heres to burning most of wanikani.
Fight everyone. Fight. Even at the top of the tower keep fighting.

Down to 650 reviews to catch up on (just to keep it moving) I forgot a lot in my long absence and am hovering around 60-70% but honestly. After doing nothing for like 3-4 months thats OK retention. If I Remember 60-70% of wanikani for the rest of my life that seems more than adequate.

Sorry I keep updating. Officially back to 0. Not to say I dont have a lot of reviews ahead of me. I pause wanikani on the weekends so on monday ill have 264. Followed by 320 on tuesday and 210 on Wednesday. But, knocking things back down to business as usual. 68-75% on the last bit so I improved. yay! Until the end of the thing ill be aiming to burn as much as I can now and run with you guys actively! Good luck tower people. YOu still got a pretty good chunk of time!

Between Christmas, work, studies and other big C related events, I fell off track a little… but am back, got to level 15 and even burned my very first items this month!!

Woah, I’m Level 44 now 
I’m used to having more than 120 lessons upon level-up due to undone lessons from the previous level, but I only have 94, huh.
First level completed within 10 days for a while! I’ll be going fast-ish until my holiday ends, then pace myself and probably aim for around 2 weeks on each level. Hopefully the workload will decrease then until it’s easy to keep up with WK.
