Didn’t you add the kanji 狼 and 噛 (level 14/38) a few days ago? I thought that might be announced in this update. In any case, nice additions :slight_smile:

I think both. I believe the following sentence was added:

“This word has a slightly gruff feel to it so it’s used mostly in informal situations.”

I was a little bit confused because the other remarks always said what they added. But it makes sense to me not to copy in the whole sentence (/ parts) when they add something to the meaning explanation.

So “updated the meaning explanation” is more when the whole explanation is changed, right?

In the level 14 vocab 近代的 the primary meaning is "contemporary " with a trailing space at the end. :alien:

What is the difference between ‘meaning’ and ‘allowed list’?

Always great to see new updates, thanks everyone for your hard work! =D

Meanings are the words you’ll see listed when you do a lesson, whereas the allowed list is a hidden list of words that’s not shown to you when you do a lesson, but will still be marked correct if you enter them during a review. The allowed list usually contains synonyms of words on the meaning list and is mostly there to make sure you won’t get marked wrong if you enter a synonym of the real meaning.

Bis said it, but in other words, ‘meaning’ is what you’re supposed to learn, and ‘allowed’ is usually answers that are a bit off, but not wrong, so you’re not getting a wrong answer when you type them.
