Most of the scripts have an active thread in the forum dedicated to that script (announcements, feedback, bug reports, requests, Q&A). Generally the thread was started by the script developer and they monitor it. Not sure about the specific script you are asking for. Will see if I can find any such thread for it.

It was the first item returned when I searched for “auto commit” which begs the question, did you try searching for it?
It appears active (most recent post in the past 24 hours although that post was someone letting the developer know it has been broken). Developer appears to be WK username johmik. Not sure of the level of activity/updates - I will leave the reading of the thread to you, I do not want to do all your homework for you
