How do you practice pronunciation?

I will guard the secret.

If you are voice shadowing, I might suggest recording voice memos. We don’t always sound how we think we do. Read a passage, record, listen, fine tune, repeat. I was actually doing this to help my listening; if there is a challenging line, the native speaker would blaze right through so I figured if I could sound better then maybe my comprehension would improve. I’ve also noticed that beginner westerners tend to over-exaggerate the necessary mouth movement for Japanese. Even though most of the phonetics already exist in English, there seems to be many subleties that get ignored. Dogan’s YT channel is pretty good on explaining this.
