Trying to find a mapping allowing me to cross-reference to any of the other major compendiums but my (limited) searching so far hasn’t come up with anything. Anyone aware of such a mapping? Any one mapping is enough because KANJIDIC already has a cross-index of all the major references.
I haven’t ever seen a direct index, but you can kind of simulate it by getting the 10ten reader browser extension. Then when you hover the mouse over a kanji on wanikani, the popup can tell you at the bottom where to find it in Heisig, Spahn, etc. (It’s got a lot of options, I don’t have them all clicked on)
I’m on firefox/mac, I’m not sure what all platforms and browswers 10ten works with.
Thanks - not as good as I was hoping for and I have to look them up one by one, but it works…it’s just manual. I have the white rabbit press flashcards and I’ve already created the lookup/mapping so I can find the right physical card if I have one of the other reference numbers. If I had a full list of WK number (or at least level) I could just script or vlookup and it’d be a lot faster…ideally just spit out a list of which WRP cards go with each level so I can pull them out when I hit a WK level (or just before, if I’m studying ahead). Thanks.
Where in this post is the WK mapping that OP asked for? I’m fairly sure you’ve just posted another edition of KANJIDIC.
Thanks - would still have to look up one by one, this looks like just a UI wrapped around the KANJIDIC data. I could just look in the XML for what this provides, and I already have an XLS with a vlookup to find one by the other. Just trying to find a way to lookup WK level number by one of the other reference numbers, and this solution doesn’t seem to have that info either, unless I’m missing it.
Yeah in my quickness I have read past that requirement. Sorry about that.
Sadly I don’t know of any other myself. But keep me posted because I also have cards. Sadly no set 3.
