900 days with Japanese Folklore - level 60 in Summer 2026

Reached level 28 before New Years :tada: This was my goal because I was level 28 when I reset back to level 20. Until now, every ‘new’ lesson has practically been review, so now it feels like I’m finally learning new things again.

I am joining on this journey. Specifically the day before new years as new year’s resolutions never work.

I will try and post in here every time I learn something new about Japanese folklore.

Why does the level up screen look differently for you than it does for me? And why do you have such a beautiful image that I don’t have lol?

It’s a little userscript that celebrates your level-ups and some other accomplishments.
You can set up custom images there as well, the sakura one if set by default.

Just added myself to this one! If people don’t mind, I’d be happy to take a few minutes and standardise the date format in that column so it’s all the same and easier to read. I propose YYYY-MM-DD, but would obviously be fine with leaving it as is if people are particular about their inputs, or using a different format if @fengduoyin has a specific preference

I support this! ^–^

I would prefer mine to be left as is, since I chose the format that’s easiest for me to read.

I prefer YYYY-MM-DD as it happens, so would be fine by me.

That said if someone strongly prefers something else - it’s 100% okay to use a different format!

The same as @hotdogsuplex, I chose a date format which is easier and more pleasant for me, so I’d rather stick with it.

With the approval of @fengduoyin, I’m going to standardise the column but leave out @macalys and @hotdogsuplex. I think newcomers to the thread will be likely to follow the “standard” but also understand they’re welcome to write the date however they like. If anyone else prefers their own way of writing they can of course just change it back to how it was (sorry!)

I personally don’t mind, so I’m fine with it  I think putting a system behind it is going to make it look more organized

level 30-39 was looking a little empty so I figured I would slide on in :stuck_out_tongue:

aiming for 60 by the end of 2024!
