I just ordered my book, though it won’t be here for a few weeks. Hopefully I’ll be far enough along to attempt to read it

By them self, the stories will be fun (enjoyable?)
読みおわった後に、本の後ろにある「お話を読みおわって」も読んでみてください。
After reading, please also read “After Reading the Stories” at the back of the book.
お話のおもしろさには、じつはいろいろな「ひみつ」があるのです。
In the interesting stories, there are various secret/mysterious facts
このひみつを知ると、ほかのお話ももっと読んでみたくなりますよ。
When you know these secrets, you will also read more similar (other?) stories

Doesn’t それ refer to the feelings (that you will feel for the story?)
By these feelings alone, you can enjoy the stories.

Hmm if I’m not mistaken, it is the 「読んでみたく」 part? 「読んでみたい」 means “to want to read”, or not?

Hi, new member here. Only at level 4, so the absolutest of absolute beginners. I’m planning to participate in the book group (still waiting for my book to arrive,) but just watching the discussion re: the translation of the prologue, and I’m already feeling lost! Looking forward to it all but…yikes? Anyway, I’ll do my best

Hey guys, sorry for not beeing around last week.
Good work with the translation of the preface ^^
I will open a post for the first story at 10th of august. It will be probably a bit late for some of you, since I will use UTC+1. but that‘s no problem. We will manage that.
Then we will do 1 page per day.
I would also say we should take a one day break between storys. I will make a poll for that.
Edit: is there even a date for the corresponding manga? 
I couldn‘t find any date in the other bookthread.

That would be nice. i wanted to fill some vocabs in, too. But I forgot my book -.- I will return at 10.08. so just on time to start the first story. But I won‘t be able to fill in vocabs
