Week 46
Yeah just how many phases can this boss have… this was one of the harder battles for sure on nightmare. As @Daisoujou said, the boss setting my entire team on fire for multiple turns is really something I had to plan around – luckily there are skills which will remove debuffs.
More than that, this was just a freaking battle of endurance. I am so lucky I leveled up between phases and got back to full HP & EP for some characters. The characters do not heal between the phases, so twice in row I was very low on HP right when the boss decides to become even meaner and badder.
Also one of the adds not taking physical damage was actually a bit hard to maneuver around, as I only had クローゼ properly on spellcasting duty & build. In the end I did manage.
大佐 suddenly overcoming some sort of mind control and coming back to his senses?
Biggest ただいま in the game. I had an inkling we’d yet see him.
Loved how disappointed he was in リシャール, and also loved how リシャール called カシウス the 大佐. He was chasing カシウス’s shadow all this time. Still doesn’t quite explain this foolish plan… but yeah, it makes sense that a small, relatively powerless country has to try to come up with some advantage.
I certainly hope I’m misreading into this, but that sounds like the biggest death flag I’ve seen in the game.
Honestly, エステル has earned a bit of peace and love.
