And also, on the image the exhibition room looks very small. But when I read it’s description in the book it feels enormous with the car and all
How big are the guest rooms, I wonder.
I have replies to some of your points but I’m already tainted by this week’s reading so I’ll keep mum.
I’m curious, so if you’d like, you could answer in the next thread then ![]()
What was the reference, out of curiosity? I haven’t read the book, but it’s been sitting in my TBR for a while now, so hearing that there’s a reference to it here is pretty neat.
Yeah, she is the only one who hasn’t contributed anything significant to the investigation yet, I hope that’s going to change.
Btw, when 遊馬 and 月夜 went upstairs to check for intruders, they forgot about something. On the first day, 老田 told them that the display room’s door can’t be opened or locked from inside. So there would have been no need to search that room, given it was closed. Unless there are more than one people lurking in the shadows, and one closed the door on the other, but that makes little sense.
Tsukiyo gets mentions it during one of her mystery rants, and (this is a spoiler for the premise of the book; you won’t actually see if it you look at any Japanese marketing, but it’s spoiled by the English title) she gets cut off right when she’s going to say “zombie”
I remember I started to watch the movie adaptation, got to where that was revealed and turned it off
I personally can’t stand the genre so I was annoyed by it not being in any of the marketing
It’s really good! It’s much more a murder mystery that uses zombies than a zombie story, and it does it really well. The book is better than the movie, but if you are skeptical than the movie is a much lower time investment. Also obviously it’s all up to you
You could also try the sequel, which doesn’t have zombies (and instead is built around clairvoyance)
It’s ridiculous how behind I have fallen, but I must confess I’m starting to lose interest in the book…
Like… nothing has happened in a really long time and I need more action.
Please someone tell me week 6 reading has more going on, PLEASE ![]()
It should be safe for you to read, but just in case: it is dynamic, a lot of things happen in the next chapter.
The pacing is whack but there is quite a lot going on in week 6, which is good because it’s quite long…
Week 6 best week so far!! Keep reading!!
I kind of think that we are starting to reach the end of the book, as in each chapter from now on will bring a lot of twists and revelations, especially with the way chapter 6 ended. Of course I might be wrong too, but only one way to find out ![]()
Thank you! I will have to push through then!
