Well, from students. I don’t think she can just tell anyone to stop discriminating. “yo, ヨジェ様, no discrimination m’kay?”
I have a couple questions.

「でもね、ここに――この王獣保護場にいるかぎりは、そういう生臭い世情にも、きちんと通じておかねばならない。
教導師たちも、機会をみて話してくれるでしょうから、いまは詳しい話はしないけれど、もう長いあいだ、真王はご尊命を狙われつづけているのよ」
I don’t really get what the second sentence is saying. Is the first half of that sentence saying that the teachers will tell エリン all about this so エサル isn’t going to go into the particulars now? And what exactly does ご尊命 mean in this context? Seems like it’s referring to the ヨジェ’s life, but I can’t find that meaning anywhere. I just see “orders” basically.

「リランをひと月、あなたのやり方で世話をしてもいいわ。ただし、守るべきことだけは守ってもらう。あなたの失敗が、リランを傷つけることがないようにね」
Is 守るべきことだけは守ってもらう a set phrase or grammar point? Or can I take it pretty literally, that she’ll protect what she has to protect?
Yes, for a long time there have been attempts at her honorable life. I don’t know for sure, but it could be a made up word that only applies to ヨジェs as they are supposed to be descendants of the gods or something.
The 89% is literal.
Well, I finished reading this part too, very interesting!
Another interesting chapter! I like that there is finally a connection with the other storyline.
About the conversation from the earlier posts, I understood that the justification to let her do it was that she was too full of herself so this experience (what the headmaster thinks is bound to be a failure) would be good for her, in order to get her ego back to earth. I didn’t see that being mentioned, though, so now I’m wondering if I got it wrong. I got that from this bit of dialoge near the end of the chapter:
早いうちに、自分がそれほど特別ではないと気づくのは、あなたにとっては、いい経験になるでしょう
I don’t believe that was her primary reason, but it sounds like a reason. The primary reason was that Erin had seen a wild 王獣.
If I remember correctly, that was more a comment related to エリン asking to be completely in charge of the 王獣 so エルザ(? エサル? 学長!) tried to get her to realize she is saying she is better than trained professionals. But エリン still got away with it, so it’s possible 学長 thought it would be a good learning experience (but it’s a very risky one though)
That’s the wrong nice lady from the wrong book.
Which book are you thinking about, by the way?
ReZero volume 1. Wow… That’s, almost exactly a year ago now.
Sure, that fits.
Oooooh, that nice lady.
