Wow, in Chapter 33 I can’t believe we got a yakuza style retelling of Momotarou! The moment Tatsu dramatically revealed the title of the story he was telling I was like, oh boy what are we getting into. And the bookstore employees cutting in at the end like 「鬼さんが謝った！！めでたしめでたし～」and the kids and Tatsu being like ? ? ? 
One of these days I’m going to actually have to read Momotarou. It’s one of those things that’s referenced everywhere so I have the very basic idea of what it’s about. This is actually the first time I’ve ever read a version of it and I have a feeling it’s not quite accurate lmao
