I’ve been meaning to share, the guy who wrote Fata Morgana has been working on a new VN for several years now. It looks to be more of a murder mystery? I hope it ends up being good; he’s earned quite a bit of trust from me and this long development time is hopefully a sign it’s getting all the time it needs to be something special. Regular updates get posted on Pixiv Fanbox about its development, so it is definitely still actively being worked on:

I just saw they put out a new trailer a few months ago. The visual style is very weird on those characters, but I dig it. It’s an odd setup they’re going for – sounds like you play as the killer and try to set up the perfect crime, but then you swap perspective to the detective to investigate those very crimes. Wonder how that’ll work out.
Sadly still no release date and they’re even calling it by an unofficial project title still, but they did announce they have a North American publisher to handle localization and console releases so maybe plans are firming up behind the scenes

I got dragged into the latest Advanced Book Club because I like mystery novels so I’m definitely down for that!
Although I still have to finish Danganronpa too…
