I almost subscribed a while ago but found it a bit pricey. I’m also not fond of graded readers generally: regardless of how much effort is poured into them they always feel a bit hollow to me.

The stories themselves are definitely not the best, but I feel like it has helped building up my stamina for reading in the early stages. Probably it can be used for listening practice too since you can play all the sentences outloud (one by one or all at once, the UI is pretty good). And the notes are gold, it’s like this one comment that blows your mind once in a while in a book club, but once per episode. But yeah I don’t think you would enjoy it that much anymore at your level. With ナナ and モルガーナ you are in good company

Yeah I considered it over a year ago. Now I think it’s mostly too late for me anyway. I mean obviously there’s a lot it could probably teach me still but even the most advanced stories feel a bit trivial compared to, say, Fata Morgana…

And NANA! Just do like me, quit your job so your have more time to read in Japanese okay I didn’t quit entirely, just reduced my time by 5 hours, but still very nice, 10/10 can recommend

The question on my end will be if I finish The Hundred Line in time or not. Finally reached 80/100 endings today. It’s very doable, I just haven’t felt the energy to devote a ton of time into it recently, and have kinda had health (well, dental) crap to deal with recently, slowing me down. I’d like to aim to try to finish this month though. We’ll see

I appreciate it, but I wouldn’t worry about it! I’ll keep juggling things, it’s mostly just for my satisfaction of finally getting it done and it’d be nice timing. I’m still planning to go read Shuten Order probably right after I finish so I’ll be getting in the midst of too much regardless

Hey friends, we’re getting close! I’m still on track to get started just fine, and did indeed finish The Hundred Line in time. I am currently reading 3 visual novels simultaneously which does not even include my Umineko club and couple videogame clubs 
. I’m sure I won’t be super quick but given that this followup isn’t too long I’ll probably do my best to give it a little priority and not prolong it TOO much.

I didn’t read as much as I hoped in October and not sure I’ll finish the novel I’m reading now before the end of the month, but all is good, I’m ready to start the VN in parallel if need be in November. There’s no pressure on the pace, so that’s nice.
