Yeah, this definitely isn’t a very acessible visual novel compared to some other ones, but maybe that’s for the better, because another game I’ve been holding onto forever, (12 ingame days in), 新すばらしきこのせかい, also comes with no furigana, mostly no voice acting, just deal with it ^^
I finished my German reading project, ゼノブレイドクロス and went back to Fata Morgana, and yep, same feelings as before:
“<picks up>
hey, i understand almost everything!
<half an hour in>
…what is a 微笑む… ah frick, i checked it up 5 times today xddd”
fatigue is strong with this one
I got to the flirting scene at the library after ネリー’s 模様替え, still at the door 1!
The 笑 is usually enough for me to remember but more generally I find the difficulty level a bit all over the place generally. The narration by the 女中 is often quite tricky while Mel’s conversations are generally easier to follow.
i did it. I sat down for like four hours something straight trying to keep on following the story, and there have been a ton of ups, a ton of downs, but Google Translate’s photo-to-translation feature definitely did a hard carry in the sections that had a lot of kanji, 亜麻色の兄妹の物語が終わった。

Seeing how much of a strain today’s reading session had on me (my brain basically became a mush) it might be hard for me to go through the remaining 7 doors, but that might not stop me from trying, it’s just that the future velocity might be even slower than the current one is ^^
I’m so glad I was able to finish the door though, that was a marathon today xddd
