me see big rock me go big rock
Not got much to work with here, but a rock on high ground sounds like a good idea…
Let’s not get buried. High ground. Maybe we will be blown to civilization?
These kinds of words/phrases have a hard time sticking in my brain…
なんとか - somehow; barely managed to (with great effort)
ところが -however, but then… (unfavorable or unexpected)
わずがに - barely, by a little, slightly (small amount that makes action fail)
思いきり → cutting off thinking → without thinking → without hesitation → with all your might
I wasn’t sure how quickly these sand storms come up so I had been thinking dune. High ground sounds worse for wind speed. But getting buried is also not fun. Ok, I’ll go for the rock outcropping with you all ![]()
Doesn’t look like my vote matters..
But I’m concerned that we’ll get lost trying to find the big rock and be worse off than if we just stay put. As long as we aren’t in the wind I think it will be fine.
Won’t the sand dune just blow away?? I vote rock ![]()
Exactly why I was wavering… I’ll switch my vote. It seems I’m a lot less resolute on this adventure (starts running in the other direction)
After yeeting our backpack to “safety” we manage to scramble our way out of the quicksand puddle. Now there’s sand in our socks and pockets
The wind is trying to steal our scarf, some shelter would be a good idea! We decide to head to the rock instead of the sand dune, hopefully it protects us from getting sand blown into our open eyeballs
Stage is open until all votes are in or until November 29th
Can I again pet that dawg?? So many cute animals who will probably beat me up. I think I will not mess with monkeys, they can be vile
Another creatures to run away from! Maybe we should be brave and take the monkeys on? On the other hand, I don’t like the sound of those 牙 (きば) fangs.

I dont think the text got in the box
I only see an empty box
Thanks for pointing that out, lol. Not sure what happened. I added nothing new to the conversation anyway ![]()
I’m going to go for leaving the monkeys behind, they seem a bit over eager and we’re totally outnumbered. I can imagine a lot of terrible scenarios if we get involved with them, and not really any benefit, lol
yes, I would also like to find an animal to play with in this book. So far it’s a bit harsh out there
I look this up in every single book… maybe by the final book I’ll recognise it ![]()
After heading to our rockin’ hiding place, we hear the distant howl of a creature! Peeping out we are completely baboonzled - by monkeys! There looks to be a lot of them and if things go south (or west or south west, whatever our watch skills say), we’re not sure we can take them all… We decide to avoid them!
Stage is open until all votes are in or until December 6th
I have played enough death stranding 2 to know that a flashflood might come fast and furious, so no way I’m walking in a dried up river when it’s rain in sight
Slope seems like a safer option than a riverbed in a rainstorm ![]()
Team let’s not get washed away in a flash flood!
