I realized that I had never actually read the final chapter of the previous volume I read ahead a bunch of chapters in a temporary loss of self control, stopped to let the club catch up, and forgot to come back
But I’m all caught up now!

Kyou being a great friend as usual, bailing Taiki out of that 王様ゲーム situation. And good on Ayame for playing along!
It’s difficult for me to watch anime after reading the manga source material (as often the anime makes too many compromises/changes for my liking), but the character art style looks spot on in this trailer. I’d almost be interested in checking it out if there was a viable way for me to do so. (I wouldn’t watch enough anime to justify the subscription price of a streaming service.)
It actually looks like it’s on netflix, which means if you live in japan (or have a way to make netflix think you live in japan), you can even get jp subs for it!
You can access Japanese captions on Netflix even without a Japanese account. On the Netflix web site, on the “Account” settings page, go to “Profiles.” Select your profile, then choose your preferred audio and subtitle languages. When you’re watching a show, subtitles for those languages will now appear at the top of the list when available.
Good on Taiki! Nothing good was going to come from dragging that out any further. Now he can stop being wishy washy, and Hina isn’t stuck trying to make a guy who already likes someone like her instead.
Of course, I feel bad for Hina. But I braced myself for this from the beginning, so I was ready.
Man, Ayame was doing such a good job of cheering Hina up, then those guys had to go and ruin it. Go be obvious conflict generators in a different story!
