I think if half at present are asking for a slower pace we should just go back to one chapter a week. The biggest con of reading quicker is that we might lose active readers - which is a shame this deep into a manga. Plus, the less active readers the more the conversation dries up.
Not sure about the week break though. I guess similar applies - if a good chunk of the readership wants the week break then we should go with that to keep the group together. Perhaps if we are back on one chapter a week people won’t feel the need for a break again at the end of volume 10.

Yes I think it makes sense to not make a break week if we go one chapter per week again. But we have left some people behind already so I understand that they want to catch up.
I just think poll results are so hard to read. Now the tie is broken, with the fastest pace being ahead, but still, if almost half of the people want a slower pace, probably still makes sense to go for that.

There will be a week break before starting Volume 10 
Still unsure about the pace but I guess we are going back to 1 chapter a week, to include as many people as possible, or let me know if I’m reading that wrong!

Maybe I’ll join the club when you all get to volume 13. I haven’t read the series in a while. I even own volume 13 already, but haven’t touched it.

The main reason I potentially will is that I’m falling behind on lots of other things currently.

I have too many bookclubs going on, so 2 chapters a week made me rush the reading a bit more than I would’ve liked, I think I still prefer the 1 chapter a week.
I’m not in a particular hurry to reach the latest volume, and if it often goes into hiatus I honestly prefer not having as much of a window between releases (cause I end up forgetting everything by the time the next volume is out lol)

Hadn’t noticed it had gone on hiatus but indeed, no new volume in a year. Not too strange yet, it looks like the usual pace was 1/2 volumes a year, could be a single volume for 2025: とんがり帽子のアトリエ#書誌情報 on wiki
And just after I type that, I notice on the English wikipedia page that volume 14 is due to come out April 23, 2025 
It’s also this year that the anime is set to premiere.

@fyrember @Akashelia I believe volume 14 is the first volume to take this long, and I assume it’s due to the mangaka taking time for the anime. That said, even when it’s releasing consistently it still takes around 7 months between volumes on average. So catching up and waiting is inevitable.
