I expected the classic where Rin acts like she’s not sad at all, then starts crying once she’s alone. But it didn’t happen! It’s kind of weird that she accepts it so easily, but I guess it’s better than seeing her cry

What I find even weirder is that she said “If I win I will confess”. Isn’t that a confession by itself? And also hadn’t she already confessed on the pool as she says later? Very confused.
On her accepting it easily I think it just makes sense, she knew his feelings and tried to change them to no avail for a while. It doesn’t change how she feels but it makes sense that she is moving on.
I like that Ayumu addressed still playing with her (and maybe giving her false hope), I thought they hadn’t talked enough abotu that last time. He is dense but surely not that dense.
So now with all the hurdles clear we finally approach the final goal and the endgame! (the shougi goblin that shows up every once in a while)
