Nailed the pun! Love it!
Let’s make a thirteam effort to do our best in week 13!
Nooo I’m one week behind. How could I have let this happen…
We’ll be done with book 1 in a fortnight if we keep going with week 14…
Thank you mitrac saving me the time
It’s time for the bisteenth (15) and final week of volume 1!
This week is gonna be totally twobular!! Because we’re starting volume 2! (for original readers anyway
)
We should be moving on to the third volume soon! (For original readers anyway) If any bis readers could help me out with lining up the chapter numbers with the bis volumes that would be swell
I assume it might be easier if I show the original chapter pages and someone could let me know what the bis chapter numbers are, and any extra bits orig doesn’t have?
Here you are. I think you posted the chapter 14 picture twice. I’m guessing your chapter 15 is chapter 58 in bis - here’s the picture so you can check.

I like the carp streamer above the children’s day date.
I WANT IT!!!
… what do all those two-kanji words signify though? Does anyone know?
They’re rokuyo! they’re a fortune telling type thing
That’s a fascinating article. How seriously is this superstition followed, do you know? In particular according to this article you basically should avoid to do anything on 仏滅 which sounds complicated…
Also amusing that most of those words have multiple readings. That’s Japanese for you.
For the normal day to day life stuff you’d have to go talk to a bunch of people in japan and ask what they think, and you’d probably find a ton of variation, but it seems to have a measurable impact on a few very specific things that you’d really want to not mess up: planning weddings and funerals, hospital discharge dates, and maybe business deals.
oh those are so cute!!
And edit: don’t read the Amazon.jp reviews for these, there is a bis spoiler that I wish I hadn’t read
Rest assured everyone basically just says if you love Shirokuma Cafe, then the sequel Shirokuma special is just as good
