Soon! There are tons of shippuden arcs but thankfully they are all rather short, 2-3 volumes each. I’ll be posting arc threads every few weeks starting at the beginning of the year, hopefully I can finish reading all 72 volumes by the end of 2026 
EDIT: For those interested, I already have the arc/thread list at the top under a dropdown. There might be some very minor spoilers in the arc titles, however 
I finished Volume 29 as well and
it had some iconic 術s in it ^^
really cool fights in this volume, there was some lore about the tailed beasts, but I think Naruto trying to save Gaara is the highlight of the volume regardless C:
I have a meta question about the structure of Naruto:
When the chapters were being drawn originally, were they considered to be a part of a volume immediately? So like, were the arcs being drawn with the expectation that they would clearly conclude with the end of the volume?
(Also, I have a feeling that the fantranslations back in the day might have sliiightly affected my Japanese enjoyment of the series, because if I look something up with Mokuro, it often turns out to be “that one word that translators have given up on translating and you’ve heard that term being put in an English fanslation regardless” ;___;
but it does sound cool regardless, and it’s cool to know what does the word mean in addition to how it sounds C:)

Hello dattebayos and non-dattebayos far and wide The Naruto Part II (疾風伝) arc threads officially begin dropping in one week, each thread on the last Saturday of the month, starting with “The Kazekage Rescue Arc” on Jan. 31st!
To celebrate the next leg of the story, and our commitment to finishing this monster of a series, I will also be hosting a Naruto Reading Day on the 31st

HELO YES i stopped my Naruto journey at volume 29 and i intend on picking up from there and reading it next week ^^
i would consider next saturday to be a success if i read volume 30 and 31, but i want to devote a bit of time to be able to get through a bit more
i won’t much treat it as a regular book club submission (will not take notes and maybe will share Emotions

I was made aware that the first three volumes of Naruto are free on Bookwalker/ebookjapan/cmoa until the 29th, both in the Monochrome (モノクロ版) and colored (カラー版) versions, so if you have your Mokuros, good time to start using it 
Additionally, a special 88-page long sampler (期間限定試し読み増量) for volume 28 has also been released, so you can start your Shippuden journey and gently transition into Part 2~
