If you don’t want to struggle calculating that, i can suggest the script : [Userscript] Dashboard Progress Plus
With this one it will be much easier to plan your level up.
And +1 for the reorder script

Hey, thank you, those are great suggestions! I will keep it in mind when I set up the lesson filter script.
Thank you for your recommendations! Using the lesson filter for vocabulary seems the way to go. I’m still not sold on the idea of levels, however. It seems to be the general consensus that dividing up new lessons into smaller batches is the ideal way, but in my opinion, the level system doesn’t encourage that at all. An uninitiated learner who’s eager to progress quickly like me will inevitably run into the problem I have. I don’t think an additional script or reading an in-depth guide should be required to not mess something like this up. As you said, “It just requires the lesson filter script and a little bit of self-control”, but I think it should be the standard encouraged by the system, and other SRS application do exactly that, while also giving the user more control over when to receive new lessons.
So I will use the lesson filter now, and I will have some restraint once the new lessons are unlocked. I’m currently at 9 1/2 days per level, let’s see if this goes up or down with the new strategy (of course, external circumstances might influence this). I’d be happy if I stay at the same level-up speed while avoiding big batches of new lessons. If I can get even faster this way because I make fewer errors, then all the better. I don’t think that will happen, though, but let’s see.
