Many people say immersion try watching easy-language anime (they are mostly slice of life), drama, and etc. with no English subtitles just Japanese
jfk/jfz stands for what?
Sorry, phone typing. Jfz(Japanese From Zero). I’m on book 2 so far. I like it though others have complaints that its a slow method compared to Genki. I’m happy nevertheless. They have videos on YouTube where the author goes over the material and explains, and i have found this most helpful for concepts that didn’t stick properly. Plus it’s listening practice?
So therefore I’m here mostly for Kanji vocabulary. And somewhat hilariously my ““complaint”” is that there’s too much hiragana vocabulary here. But I’m happy to reinforce both.

After making it to level 5 you are entirely correct. Though I still think pure hiragana-katakana words are best studied elsewhere or maybe the obscure kanji could be used alongside it so that the goal of learning Kanji is retained. That is assuming that any kanji for it exist. But in any case I am happy with the current situation.
