What I would like is a script that counts the number of lessons I have done per day, and if I have done my 20, it hides the number of lessons remaining until tomorrow, making it look like I have none left.

After some digging in the forums, I found this script by @Kumirei:

What A script requested by @ckadioglu. Something like it already existed, but I thought I would make my own take on it. What it does is display 0 lessons when you have too many items in your system already. By default this is set to a total of 100 apprentice items, but you can change it to be whatever you want…

It sets a lock based on your number of apprentice items, not on the number of lessons you have already done for the day, but I think that’s even better. Absolutely worth trying if you have too many apprentice items!
