Sounds like a pretty awesome opportunity but there’s no way I’d leave Tokyo for Portland. Having been there, there’s no comparison. There’s better nature stuff near Tokyo and the underground music scenes are better here too (I’m sure many would debate that). Or do you even have to move there?
That’s okay, a lot of my friends would disagree too. They seem to prefer what’s coming out of Portland to Tokyo’s current Jazz Fusion and Noise phenomenon.

I only wear them on Tuesdays for my Jpop jazzercise…err… I mean manly aerobics class, I find the wool cause the wood to chafe.
