Parts of Speech
Again, trying to make these more useful. One of the issues I’ve had is that all the parts of speech blend together when there’s like more than three.
My hope is to make it easy to tell what a word can and can’t do at a glance using color only. In the demo it’s a outlined pink for transitive verbs but solid pink for intransitive. Likewise, nouns, adverbs, adjectives are different colors.
Things that are “important” but only for reference (ex: godan, ichidan, etc.) are part of the “usage” category which is written in green. This includes stuff like “usally kana”, etc. Hopefully this will help tune out all the noise without losing detail.
Actions
Experimenting with simplifying the actions. So now instead of having to select which readings you want, and adding or trashing the word, you just say whether you do or do not know the word.
Reading selection will take place when you quiz yourself probably.
