March 21sth - Home post
I re-read yesterday’s chapter of 本好きの下剋上 plus parts of a new chapter. Not sure if I’ll continue to re-read every chapter in Japanese. It takes so long and I want to continue reading the story and find out what happens! Reading once in Japanese and then re-reading in English to make sure I understood everything is probably a better idea.
Read some デスノート today 
Would read more, but unfortunately I have to wake up at 6 AM tomorrow, so I have to go to bed. I’ll read more tomorrow.

A bit more Maomao. I think this is halfway through episode 4. I think I will finish this ep and break again. About two episodes’s worth at a time seems to be my comfortable limit right now (comfortable being relative since I would say my vocab coverage per chapter is something like in the low 30% range. Thank god for Yomitan)

I played more Phanatsy Star Portable 2 Infinity. Now I have Colonel Sanders as my party member the founder of KFC lol. Still struggling with the game I forget how to play it. The japanese is either very easy or maybe my japanese improved.

March 22nd - Home post
Books today too - one chapter of 本好きの下剋上 and a half chapter of 時間割男子 for the Natively book club. It feels good to read books now, after a year of VNs and manga!
Just over a week left in the quarter, no missed days! I’ve found over the past few days that VNs are really approachable. I’m a few hours into Steins;Gate, and it’s a vocab gold mine. I’m mining like 20 words a day out of there, and it’s legitimately fun, as opposed to Haruhi that I really have to push through. I think a good mix of books when I have the energy and manga/VN when I don’t is the way to go.
March 21
It took me some time but I finally remembered how to play and reached the last universe in Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. Just a little more and I should be done with this game as long as the last boss is not too hard. After that I will stop playing games in japanese and focus more on visual novels and books for some time.

- Finished the week’s read of Bocchi and thus the volume. Fun times. Bocchi is still a tricky read but it does feel like it’s flowing more smoothly… main thing is stamina.

Yay, I finally finished this book! Recently I was pretty busy, so it took me more than a month to read this book. I still love reading 薬屋, so I’ll continue for now without a pause.
