Finished going through the Pokopia video from yesterday for today’s reading. I enjoyed it a lot and really feel like I’m improving at working through a sentence and understanding how everything is slotting together - even when I don’t know all the words I’m getting more confident with at least understanding what functions they’re performing 
I can see why reading things from more focused subject matter can be beneficial at times, it’s sort of like the SRS is built into the reading session with how often the same words pop up. I got a lot of practise with recognising things like “池” “滝” “岩” and “すみか” because the video was about building pond habitats with waterfalls and decorating with boulders.
I am a little tempted to start a fresh Pokopia save and work through the storyline again in Japanese now
