I played 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡 and did the quest where you have to fight a bunch of battles in a row without losing. It was pretty easy I am probably already overleveled.

My grammar is as bad as my reading is good.
With vocab I’ve decided not to torture myself to hellish cramming SRS, I’d better spend time polishing my grammar, it’ll have more sense long term.
I had a deck of N1 words and a huge chunk of them simply weren’t on the test. Frankly aside from the kanji readings part I felt like the overall vocab felt pretty constrained
I think in 1 month you can pick up a lot more marks from exam strategy and getting used to the style of grammar questions than you can by focusing on vocab, sounds like the better way!

Yeah, that is also why I’m hesitant with spending hours on something that won’t even help me.
I did one mock test for vocab part, and I scored about 60%, which is not the best, but not catastrophic either. I’m really bad at guessing the correct answer if I don’t know it, especially I have problems in the last section, where you have 4 sentences to choose a correct application of a vocab unit…

Been on top of my SRS lately. I was going to work on the JoJo club, but my bedtime hit lol. I was really eager to continue the arc about catch, so I ended up going until I finished it. I think the anime drew it out, but somehow without making it tiring. Both were good, I was just surprised by the faster pacing. In this next volume, I assume we’re getting introduced to the man on the cover! Exciting!

羅生門
Started on Rashōmon! Another famous one by Akutagawa.
I know I’ve read this in English, but I’m really not sure if I already have in Japanese… I don’t remember, but oh well, reading it either for the first time in Japanese or for the second time, reading is reading.
If I ever happen to be with a bunch of Japanese speakers and also happen to happen across some really cool mosaic wooden furniture then I will point at it, and exclaim in confidence, “寄せ木細工!”
November 11
Some more 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡, I finally arrived at the hospital. I wonder how the new doctor is I hope not as crazy as the last one. Still need to get back doing one fishing duel I run out of lure and need to get some more before I can beat that guy.
