In the lesson mode, I don’t want to navigate away from the current path, no matter what I click on. As an example, when I want to check out a Kanji from the Kanji Composition section, the entire page relocates. E.g.:
PC on their website. I know that I can open it up in a new tab with CTRL/Shift or right-click. However, that is wrong by design. Sorry for cherry picking, but such things stick out for me as a software dev
Even easier, just middle click it, no need to use your other hand for anything really. If you do however, shift+middle click immediately takes you to that new tab too.
No offense, but I didn’t ask how I can open it up in a new tab. This is just my feedback - take it or leave it tbh. I did update my post to make that clear.
I might be misremembering, but I think before the recent update it worked like this. I know some things were changed to conform with ‘standard internet practices’ (or something along those lines) despite people being against it, such as removing the enter key as a way to advance through lessons.
Perhaps this is another such change? I have no idea.
It only does this during the learn part of lessons. During the quiz part of lessons it behaves the same way as reviews, opening the page in a new tab. Kinda makes it less inconstant since the learn pages are bit of a different style of page than quiz or reviews. Maybe it’s still too confusing idk. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
