Has anyone else noticed a change to the back button recently?
When I’m looking at a vocabulary word and click on one of the radicals/kanji to view it, pressing the browser Back button now takes me all the way back to the WaniKani dashboard instead of back to the word I was looking at.
I’m using Safari on an iPad. This only seems to have started in the last week or two. Is this a recent change or a bug?
I’m getting the usual behaviour here, on both my iPad and Firefox on the desktop.
Yes, I have the same issue. When clicking a radical or kanji in reviews, the item now opens embedded in the review screen (instead of in a new tab).
I contacted support, and sadly apparently this is an intended change. I also hate it because it’s really confusing and I already accidentally clicked out of my review session twice yesterday.
I’m also finding this behavior very disruptive. Is there an alternate way to get back to the word you were looking at rather than all the way back to the dashboard? I haven’t found one yet.
