Reading feels like grammar study to me… especially if you’re taking the time to look up constructions you don’t understand. I’m sure you’re also picking up plenty of Non-WK vocabulary in your reading, even if that’s not your specific intention. Everyone learns differently, using different methods and at different paces. I think the best tools are the ones that keep you coming back and get you forming consistent study habits. You could have the best grammar book in the world, but if you don’t like it, you won’t use it.
