in the study streak part there are two offerings. two turtles. What are they used for?

To save your streak if needed. In other words, if you ever miss a day or two of study. I think they are applied automatically (but I am not sure).

This is correct! Miss a day and the offering will cover you and save your streak, though the streak will not increase.
Miss a day with no offerings… And your streak is dead.

Kinda important for overseas flights, etc., or whenever you are off-grid.

Kinda think they’re for simple forgetfulness. If you’re anticipating being off-grid, vacation mode is probably the better option.
OK, vacation mode is for planned absences. The offerings should be for emergencies, power outages and other surprises.
But maybe not forgetfulness, WK is for remembering things.
