Is it wani kani being inaccurate? Ive noticed the radical for slide in wani kani is bending stroke on wikapedia, and the drop radical in wanikani is a dot on wikepedia
WaniKani radicals have names, not meanings. They are used for making memorable stories as tools for memorizing the kanji they appear in. As such, they often don’t have any relation to other sources you see.
