maybe regular class might be better
I’ve heard a lot of local governments in Japan offer stuff like this, sometimes even for free. Might want to check with your local town hall.

Yes, that was also @Syphus 's suggestion.
I actually joined one a few years ago.
I don’t if it’s because my level was not so good at the time, but I only attended three times before dropping out.
The fact it was free didn’t really help either, in that case. (That being said, I have also dropped out of paid class as well in the past, so that can’t be the main factor )
The only Japanese classes I attended until the end were those which
(a) gave me credits or
(b) made me sign a document saying that I swear to attend until the end. I think I mentioned about that class somewhere else on the forum, but basically it was for research purpose. I was one of the “test subject” which they were using to test some new teaching methods.
My next best suggestion is Hub. I’ve actually never had the chance to take a full on language class.
I would have to say I don’t think this is true at all. C2 is an incredibly high level in which the learner is essentially indistinguishable from a native speaker. I’ve worked with many translators and interpreters (to English) and there has been a huge variance in their level with those who would comfortably be C2 being in a small minority.
It’s possible to pick up translation jobs with an N2 certificate (which I guess is equivalent to B2?) so I’m sure there would be many more available to someone with N1.
Saying all that, some of these people were atrocious at their jobs and caused a lot of frustration so, of course, if you want to be a great translator / interpreter and get those top jobs then you should be looking to get as close to native level as possible, but you certainly don’t need C2 level to do the job.
