Why don’t you just write down the kanji you most commonly see in these documents? Earlier levels of WK probably aren’t going to show what you’re wanting to find.

Why are you so angry at other people trying to help you?
Go to the settings → scripts → settings → reorder omega and change the review and lesson presets to “Speed Demon”.
That will ensure you always do radicals first when they’re available.
That wasn’t an opinion. But if you’re a living version of the main character from Limitless than I am sorry my feeble mind inconvenienced you with facts relevant to us mere mortals.
I’m sorry, I was just having a bad day. I’m not angry at anyone.
I apologize for being rude. Don’t be mad and no I’m not that character from limitless. Just wanted to give it a try. Thank you for being considerate.
Thank you so much. Hope you have a great day. 何かあったら声かけるのでその時よろしくお願いいたします。
This WaniKani lesson picker can help you if the scripts don’t function. Wanikani soft launched it a few weeks (days?) ago.
I’ll try it out when I have the next lesson, ありがとう。
If you know everything and just need to remember the Kanji, as in you don’t need the Vocabulary and Readings (however that’s supposed to work in the end, but I’ll not bother you with an opinion), why are you trying to do Wanikani? You are heavily gated here and learn way too slow for what you asked.
You could load in some of the documents you read into jpdb.io and just learn the Kanji from there, putting all components (radicals) and vocabulary immediately into “I know, don’t ask me again” and only leave the Kanji in there. You should be able to go at your own pace there and learn the kanji you need most immediately. Didn’t try it myself, but should work like that.
I’ve been living in Japan for 3 years and can understand and speak Japanese. I didn’t mean to be rude. I was just a little frustrated then, I apologize for that. I’ll look into the jpdb.io, thanks
@Sadia already mentioned jpdb.io. I would also recommend using Anki instead of WaniKani. Why? Because unlike WaniKani, Anki doesn’t put any artificially limits on how fast you’re supposed to learn. You can learn as fast or as slow as you like.
And also, if reading a complete guide to WK is somehow too time-consuming, you can ask the question to ChatGPT and it will give you a step-by-step guide.
Honestly, if you already live in Japan and have an understanding of the language and just need to get your kanji knowledge over the line:
Get an anki deck of even just the 1000 most common kanji in what you have to read and blitz them out. Even just 20 kanji a day will have you through them all in less than 2 months.
80/20 rule is real.
WK is just going to frustrate you, especially if people offering you advice does.
It’s even possible to go to Wiktionary or (JA Wiktionary), and use Yomichan to add vocabularies to Anki by Kyōiku kanji grade. Wiktionary also analyzes Kanji by parts and derived characters.
Going at 5 Kanji per day, 35 per week, that’s roughly the same rate as WaniKani. Vocabularies are just as hard as you wish, or suspend otherwise, or rely on leech threshold.
jpdb.io is good in that it is a dedicated Japanese language web app, particularly focusing on vocabularies and Kanji. Anki is simply anything you put in, as long as you can find the content somewhere (which can also be considered a limitation).
WaniKani doesn’t teach 林, btw.
No offense taken, I do have my own special reasons to be here, just didn’t want to give you advice that is obviously not needed.
Was just unsure how with how you described you can work out the connection between the spoken words and the written Kanji if you don’t care for readings or vocab!
Its not that I don’t care for the vocab The thing is I know the words and their meanings most of the time. But I cant read kanji. Wanikani is amazing and so is everyone here. That’s why i just wanted to know how people who are doing lessons so fast do it.
Btw, what was the advice you wanted to give. Kinda makes me curious when you put it that way.
