Good to know! Thank you for sharing your experience
And nice to meet you Librari-Friend!
That makes me think of Oshiri Tantei! What other county but Japan would repackage Sherlock Holmes as a butt and make it for children…but it’s also hilarious and witty? I can’t wait until I can read that book series myself! They sell it at my local Japanese bookstore and I just flip through the pictures and giggle to myself like the sophisticated adult I am.
Oshiri tantei is wild. I remember accidentally discovering the anime for the first time when I left my TV on too long and getting scarred for life by his “capture gas”
Crystal Hunters Manga with the additional online resources explaining the grammar falls under this I believe
I actually made my own PDF and had the first volume printed and bound! I’m so a excited to read it!!! However I did put that on pause, as I discovered Satori Reader and the Human Japanese lessons that go with it. I’m just working my way through the HJ chapters and reading the sentences that go along in Satori Reader. They are kind of repetitive and super basic, (using simple grammar and vocab learned in each lesson - Ex: 皿ではありませんでした) BUT I really like that I am learning and understanding the nuances of grammar conjugations and practicing with vocab ![]()

Onward and upwards!
