Leftmost textbox, third line from the right, Speedwagon says “蹴りを入れなかった”. I’m guessing it’s the 入れる that means insert, and if that’s the case then I would suppose “to insert a kick” is just a weird way to say “to kick”, or 蹴る? Is this correct?
Jisho has that construction without を and it means „to kick into“: 蹴り入れる - Jisho.org
which makes a lot of sense in my opinion
