Done and officially caught up! Scene 4 was easily the longest yet and with some long compound sentences, and I should have stopped half way for a break. My total time for this week is somewhere around 3.5hr, give or take–I keep forgetting to mark the time when I sit down to play.
I spent an embarrassingly long time trying to figure out why Junpei said Number 6’s code name was fine as long as it started with「む」. Completely forgot it’s a reading, assuming I knew it in the first place.
Continuing my long standing tradition of not knowing most of the vocab, but at least it’s repeating a lot, so maybe I’ll pick some up.
Wow, I finally finished this weeks assignment. I realize I’m currently utilizing my slowest reading approach. Scrutinizing everything. I’m getting faster. Definitely seeing spots where I can start pushing through without trying to translate. Continuing to read on the DS first is intimate and rewarding but maybe unfeasible. I’ll try it again for next week’s section and see if I can improve enough to continue that way.
Yay, I finally finished this weeks assignment I think I needed about 3,5 - 4h (not sure about the exact time though… I would need to check my posts in the reading challenge thread, where I always said how long I read on a day ).
Something I was wondering all the time…concerning their names: Why exactly did they choose to use nicknames? I mean, they said something along the lines, they do this so that zero wouldn’t know who they are… but I would assume that they were not just random people zero (or whoever) kidnapped. So he should be fully aware of who they are? And know their real names… so I find it kind of pointless although I like how they all came up with names that include their number
Names: They weren’t sure if they were just chosen randomly, and were worried their families could be put into danger or used against them if that was the case and their identities got out
