I probably will read book 5 - I own it already. But I’d like a bit of a gap between books, especially since I’m on a road trip at the moment. (I’ll still be on a road trip after a few weeks, though from 24/6 I’m on a dive boat for a week so can read then.)

If we’re the only two reading the next book, I don’t mind starting it when you’re ready! It’ll be nice to catch up on other books. Plus it might feel more refreshing to pick up the series after a nice long break. (^^)

Volume 4 Chapter 12 (END)
As it stands now, we’ll be taking a month break before moving to volume 5. We’ll officially start reading again on June 24th. Our readership has really dropped 
but I am actually surprised we’ve gotten this far!
We’ve still got a ways to go before we’re even halfway into the series, so if anyone wants to join in at any point, feel free to voice your interests and participate in the polls! I’m always willing to slow down so new readers can catch up!

The start date for volume 5 kinda snuck up out me, but I’m glad I didn’t forget about it! We’re supposed to start the next book from this Saturday, so I’ve started a tentative reading schedule and will update it in the first post shortly.
@Cathm2 and anyone else who wants to join in: just checking if you still want to start in the next few days or if you want to push back the start date a bit?
I know a couple other clubs started books last week and this upcoming Saturday, so if you want to allocate more time for them, let me know! 
Edit: If we continue our pace of one chapter a week, we would finish by September 2. (Warning: I may or may not be around to post weekly update reminders since my baby’s due date is in the middle of September. But it shouldn’t be too big of a problem since we don’t have many readers and all discussion will stay on one thread.)

I would love to push things back a week if I can - I’m travelling and behind on most of my clubs! I realised a couple of days ago that I’d forgotten to ask and thought maybe it was a bit late to delay.

It’s never too late to ask! Feel free to pop in anytime and propose a new schedule if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Right now it’s just the two of us anyway, and it’s not like I’m in a hurry to finish the series. (Ideally I want to finish it before my kids start JHS, so I have several years haha.)
Anyway, our new start date for volume 5 will be next Saturday, July 1st!

Hey @Cathm2 ! I just wanted to check on you to see how you’re doing. I noticed you posted that you weren’t yet done with vol 4 a few days ago.
Are you sure you don’t need another week or 2 week break? This is probably the best place to request it so you can catch up on other things. (^^) It’s no trouble at all for me if you were worried about that!
I finished it 2 days ago - sorry I’ve been out of range for a few days. Happy to start book 5 today if that works for you.

Volume 5 Chapter 2 starts today! I have to say that the first chapter was a bit refreshing, so I’m looking forward to reading this volume. Let’s see if it keeps up!

So I’m behind, but am behind on most of my clubs, and likely to catch up with them this week as I finally have some down time. I’ll see how I go.

I just managed to catch up to this week’s reading. But this book is still not a priority for me and more of like “oh I have to go to the clinic today, so I’ll take 夜カフェ along to pass the time” kind of thing.
Anyway, let me know if the reading piles up too much for you and we can take a 1-2 week break soon if you need it!

I’ve read a chapter and a bit so I’m less behind than before. So I’m happy to keep the schedule going as is. But I have noticed that the next few chapters are on the long side, so maybe a short break at some point will be a good idea.
