I like the lion character, I don’t think we know yet if he is an imaginary friend, a ghost or something else. He has a cool look with those trousers and lion head.

I happened to just finish the first chapter and then read the book summary in the home thread after that:

In 2010 AD, Japan’s first manned space exploration rocket “Lion” crashed into an urban area, causing a catastrophic accident that resulted in many casualties. Asumi, a young girl who lost her mother in the accident, meets the ghost of the pilot of the crashed spacecraft, Mr. Lion, and sets her sights on becoming an astronaut.
